- Note
- The Auditorium was designed by Charles F. Whittlesey and constructed on the site where Hazard's pavilion was in 1906. When the eight story building was first completed, it was named as the Temple Auditorium since the Temple Baptist Church used on Sundays for the service. It also housed retail stores, offices and two halls other than the main auditorium. The building became known as the Philharmonic Auditorium after the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra occupied in 1920. It was remodeled with the design of Stiles O. Clements in 1938 as shown.
