Chavez Ravine: An Unfinished Story

Chavez Ravine: An Unfinished Story

Chavez Ravine: An Unfinished Story is a community-curated collection that documents the neighborhood lives of Palo Verde, La Loma and Bishop over the course of the twentieth century. Consisting of photographs, oral history interviews and other historical material, the collection offers a history of the three neighborhoods from the perspectives of residents themselves both before and after their displacement. As an important component of a larger community-academic partnership, this collection addresses important gaps in the history of the landscape where Dodger Stadium now sits.
