- The "Moorcrest" residence, located at 6147 Temple Hill Drive, was built in 1920 and designed by amateur architect Marie Russak Hotchener (aka Marie Elaine Barnard)" Although the home was only briefly rented by Charlie Chaplin in the early 1920s, it is often advertised as the star's former home. In 1925, it was sold to Mr. and Mrs. Otto Langhanke, the parents of Mary Astor.
