- The Pantages Theatre was designed by Benjamin Marcus Priteca, who had designed more than 100 theaters. Named after its owner Alexander Pantages, the theater opened in 1920 at the corner of Hill and Seventh streets, and it was sold to the Warner Bros in 1929.
