Polish document translated: Rabbinical Diploma. Rabin Sz., Flatau. Warsaw, Dzielna Street 58, tel. 17186. I hereby state that Mr. Chaskiel Majer Kohn, son of Wolf, born 18 September 1918 in Rypin, presently residing at Warsaw, Nowowiniarska Street 11, today passed in front of me the general rabbinical exam with the grade of A, and demonstrated quite satisfactorily the mastership of all the rabbinical knowledge as well as the qualifications necessary to adjudicate all religious matters. In view of the above I give to Mr. Chaskiel Kohn this diploma which authorizes him to assume the position of a rabbi in the entire territory of Polish Republic. With blessing, (signature). Warsaw, 7 January 1939. Yiddish words on the top right corner in translation are Rabbi Shlomo Flatau (Rabin Sz., Flatau in Polish).
