- Note
- The McCormick Mortuary, located at 635 South Prairie Ave. in Inglewood, California near the Inglewood Park Cemetery, was built around 1943 by funeral director John Flanagan (b. 1916 in Ojai, California)" Flanagan built many other mortuaries in the Los Angeles area on the same building design. The mortuary first operated as Hardin & Flanagan Mortuary, until the McCormick family purchased the mortuary around 1959 and changed the name to McCormick Mortuary. The north part of the building (comprised mainly of the north lobby) was built sometime around 1960, adding to the original chapel and lobby.
