- Description
- A gourd rattle wrapped in strings of yellow and green beads. The round end is beaded in a netting pattern and the handle is tightly beaded ending in six bead strands extending from the end of the handle. Rattles like this are used by the Yorùbá people in ceremonies related to Orúla, an orisha (divine spirit) of wisdom, knowledge, and divination.
