- Note
- Angeleno Heights (also known as Angelino Heights) is among the oldest areas in the Echo Park district of Los Angeles. E. T. (Edward Thomas) Wright was county surveyor three times in Los Angeles County, his first term beginning in 1884 and his last ending in 1898. He also served as county surveyor for San Bernadino County. Partnering with W. B. Nicholson, he formed Wright and Nicholson to survey areas of Los Angeles and San Bernadino counties. As the maps in this collection attest, Wright was instrumental in the development of many parts of Los Angeles.
