Description
Completed colored pencil and gouache painting of Many Crosses, 2012. The digital file was completed on September 21, 2012, and the first print in a planned edition of fifty was signed on February 18, 2013. Creation of the artwork was rushed to have it completed before November 6, 2012. However, Swanson was unsure how "filled in" with color the artwork should have been, so printing was delayed on the giclee edition until the next year, and the painting wasn't completed until January 3, 2014. All pieces were signed and dated 2012 to match the year of the November 6, 2012 ballot.
