- Note
- In the 1930s Loyola established its new campus on the bluff in Westchester while continuing its sports programs. While Loyola discontinued the men's basketball program for four seasons during the great depression, it is hockey that emerged as Loyola's top program, thanks in large part to the use of its football players as hockey players. Although Loyola would enjoy a decade of winning seasons, the hockey program was dropped in 1941.
