- Description
- A copper idol of Lakṣmīnārāyaṇa. Here, Viṣṇu and Lakṣmī appear combined to embody Lakṣmīnārāyaṇa, representing beauty and happiness. The figure is standing in sampada posture on a lotus pitha. In each of its eight arms it holds an emblem. On the right, the figure holds Vishnu's emblems: the cakra (wheel), gadā (mace) and padmā (lotus). On the left, the figure holds Lakṣmī's emblems: the kalasa (pot), darpaṇa (mirror), saroja (lotus) and pustaka (book of divination).
