- Frederick Charles Dockweiler (1909-2000) was the son of Isidore B. Dockweiler and Gertrude Reeve Dockweiler. He was a lawyer active in Los Angeles and California political issues, notable for his stands on various state and local ballot initiatives. From 1948 to 1952, Frederick Dockweiler vigorously fought for initiatives opposing public housing in Los Angeles and California. In 1964, he campaigned for a proposition against pay TV, and he actively opposed an initiative supporting censorship in 1972.
