- Description
- This was the first version of Many Crosses, drawn with colored pencils, by John August Swanson. He created the work to support California Proposition 34 on the November 6, 2012 ballot. His original concept was to only use red in the image to emphasize Jesus and those crucified. However, as he created the work, he felt the piece was incomplete and he would later add more colors.
