Description
This study was made for the Many Crosses, 2016 poster for California Proposition 62 on the November 8, 2016 ballot. Swanson's original work, Many Crosses, was used to promote Proposition 34 in 2012. However, Swanson was unsure how "filled in" with color the artwork should have been. This study, done in gouache and colored pencil, was digitally combined with Many Crosses, 2012 and modified to create the image on the 2016 poster.
