- A photographic postcard depicting a Fourth of July parade believed to have taken place in Bishop, California, at the intersection of Main Street and Line Street. At left, a pole vaulter attempts to clear a bar in a sea of onlookers and spectators watch from the roofs of nearby buildings decorated with flags. A note written on the back of the postcard in pencil reads, "The first white umbrella on the right hand corner—Mom & Dad before they were married" and the name Carrie Scott is signed in blue pen.
