- Description
- In 2018, John August Swanson wanted to redesign his 1979 artwork, Orchestra. He wanted darker skin tones for his musicians, and deeper colors. Swanson felt that the new coloring would make his artwork more inclusive of all peoples. The artwork was never printed as an edition. Instead, Swanson decided to use the new image in a poster, which was released five days after the completion of this digital file.
