Gothic textura quadrata script in brown ink ruled in brown, rubrics in red, written in two columns of 33 lines. Red and blue versal initials decorated with fine penwork flourishes. The Breviary is the liturgical book containing Psalms, hymns, lessons and other texts recited during the Divine Office.
