Description
Completed giclee of Brahms Piano Quintet, 2013. John August Swanson felt that additional changes could be made to the 2012 giclee. After the first five prints sold, he had the opportunity to try out new ideas. Swanson felt the giclees printed in 2012 were a bit too dark, that the figures looked like they were horizontally stretched, the shading needed to have softer transitions, the colors could be punchier, and the cat needed to stand out more. The new file was completed on September 23, 2013, and printing was moved from ArtWorks Fine Art Printing in Pasadena, CA, to Kolibri Art Studio in Torrance, CA. Numbering continued and all prints were dated 2012.
