- Note
- The Will Rogers Historic Park was named after Will Rogers, one of the most popular actors in Hollywood. It used to be a 186-acre ranch, which included a 31-room ranch house, a stable, corrals, riding ring, roping arena, polo field, golf courses, and hiking trails. Will Rogers used to spend time with his families and friends in the ring and roping at the ranch that overlooked the Pacific Ocean. Betty Rogers later donated the ranch to the California State Parks after the unfortunate death of Will Rogers in 1944.
