Audio guided tour of Story of Ruth

The story of Ruth is one that is dear to me because of the two women. And I was told by friends of mine that women friends and they say you should do more about women's stories in, in the, in the Bible, there's such a beautiful story,

the story of Ruth. And so I, I thought about it, read it, uh try, tried to make many drawings so that they could be, have meaning and put all the important parts in it and then how to organize it. So they would have um a symmetry

and, and a unity. And so uh there's 12 scenes of the life of Ruth and Naomi and uh why I'm drawn to these, these, this story, it's ancient story. It's a story from our past, from our ancestors. And there's stories that we've heard and your, our

families have talked about too. Uh But uh to look at Ruth as such a, a gracious and uh connected to her mother-in-law. And in fact, the mother in law decides to leave to go back to her home, which is far away. But Ruth wants to go

with her. She doesn't want her to be alone. She said you are my mother. You are my people. I will. And your land is my land so that she, uh, companies her across the desert. And then, and she is very poor. She doesn't speak the language.

She's an immigrant, they're homeless. They find a shelter and, uh, Naomi tells her to glean, you can go and glean the fields. You can pick up what's left over. That's part of the rules of the, the people that they would leave it for the poor, whatever

they didn't pick up. And eventually she marries one of Naomi's relatives, Bo, she marries Boz and Bo and she have the, the child that and Ruth is actually the grandmother of King David, which is very exciting uh that God chooses the poorest to keep this royal

uh line of, of the house for the ruling of the Ju Judaic people. And I, the way I've connected it, there are four panels and they're all connected by the same horizon line. So there's three layers of, of panels. And I, I'm I, I find it

exciting because to how to portray the story and make it powerful and make it meaningful to people that look at it. And I put AAA very um fine script over each scene in order to help the people read the story if they didn't know it. And

I used lots of decorative elements all over the to um board, make a border around each panel uh to make it um more interesting. So every time you look, you'll find little elements that are um that visually can help you. And I hope you all uh

see that, I wonder, you know, how God chooses these people to, to carry on the work that is important in the history of his people.
