Audio guided tour of Saint Michael and the Archangels

This a picture of Saint Michael and the Archangels is one that I I printed in 2006 and it was a ac graph and it had 62 different colors, layers of colors that I mixed with oil paints. During my months of printing and enhancing and creating that

C graph. I kept finding new ideas and to add to the work and, and I was very influenced by the Santos of the Mexican tradition, especially Saint Michael, the Archangel. He's such a popular uh saint the, the battle with the devil is a familiar and well-known

story in that tradition. But I, I put four other archangels around helping Saint Michael. And they are in a, they all have elaborate clothing and costumes and uh their wings are carefully drawn with layers of detailed feathers. So please, uh if you have to, if you

even have a magnifying glass, you could look and see how carefully they are uh printed and made. And there's a lots of patterning all around, not only in their clothing but on the these sunburst or mandalas that are surrounding each angel and the the demon dragons

are also filled with lots of patterns and very intricate patterns. These demons are, the dragons represent war, greed and poverty. The colorful clouds are all around with interesting layers of undulating layers of colors, purples and reds, violets, blues and it's like uh everything is moving quickly,

like a lot of turbulence is going on in the sky looking at it. And you see there's a certain element of surreal or dreamlike qualities to it.
