- Albert Koppes (aka Al Koppes), O.Carm, a Carmelite priest with a PhD in Education, began his teaching career at Loyola Marymount University in 1975. Over the years he has been appointed to various positions at LMU, including Academic Vice President, Chair of the Education Department, and Dean of the School of Education.
