- Note
- Margaretha Sugg Dockweiler (1827-1924) and Henry Dockweiler (1824-1887) had four sons, three of whom survived infancy, including John Henry (1864-1941), Joseph Aloysius (d. 1918), and Isidore Bernard Dockweiler (1867-1947). Mary, Rosario and Ruth were the daughters of Isidore B. and Gertrude Reeve Dockweiler. Rosario married Marcus Crahan, and Ruth married Quinn Brady. Mary was a prominent Los Angeles socialite, also very active in such charitable causes as the Los Angeles Orphanage Guild. She married twice, first to lawyer William Kenyon Young (1900-1962), son of a major California Democrat Milton K. Young, and after William Young's death, she married Dr. Daniel Sooy in 1965.
