- Note
- Belles Service Organization was established in 1960 as the official "hostesses" of Loyola University. Since then, Belles has continued to assist campus events and expanded services to Los Angeles communities. Crimson Circle was founded in 1929 to assist the Jesuit Dean of Students enforce the Student Code of Conduct at student assemblies and events. Over time the nature of the group changed and it steadily evolved into an Honor Society dedicated to service to Loyola Marymount University and the surrounding Los Angeles community. In 2010, the Crimson Circle committed to tutoring and mentoring students at local grammar and high schools as well as helping prepare grammar school students for the Catholic high school entrance exams. Loyola Marymount University Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are full-time students who have passed the California certification exam and become part of the LMU EMT team to provide voluntary emergency medical services to the LMU community.
