- Alfred J. Kilp, S.J. (1909?-1988) was a Jesuit priest and alumnus who devoted most of his adult life in service to the University. He served Loyola Marymount University for 41 years as a biology professor, dean of men, athletic moderator, and superior of the Jesuit community. His career began in 1937 when it was Loyola College. He was the Vice-President from 1956-1963 and the Alumni Relations Director from 1969-1973. He passed away January 11, 1988 from cancer. Richard Egan was a popular film actor in the 1950s-1970s.
