- Father Joseph Glass, C.M., was the President of St. Vincent's College from 1901 until 1911. When the Vincentian fathers decided to withdraw from teaching in California and sold the campus in 1910, Father Glass stayed on as a Trustee as the Jesuits took up the teaching mission, changing the name of the institution to Los Angeles College.
