- Note
- Completed in 1904, the Hibernian Building was designed by John Parkinson. It was located at the southeast corner of South Spring and West 4th streets. This 12-story Beaux Arts style office building has many names. It was first known as the Braly Building, later the Union Trust Building, the Hibernian Building, and then the Continental Building. The 175-foot building was the tallest landmark in Downtown Los Angeles until 1928.
