- The Pantages Theatre was built in 1920 by Benjamin Marcus Priteca, who had designed more than 100 theaters. The Pantages Theatre, named after its owner Alexander Pantages, opened at the corner of Hill and Seventh streets in 1920, and it was sold to the Warner Bros in 1929.
