- Description
- Letter from M. E. L'Heureux to Reverend Donald P. Merrifield, S.J. Response to a recent letter to Father Clark, requesting comments on possibly attracting 100 or more women to the campus in 1973-1974 as Loyola students. Loyola-Marymount outnumbers Regis and Gonzaga in both male and female enrollment. Undersubscribed female enrollment (Marymount) in comparison to USF and Santa Clara. Three significant concerns- financial aid, housing, and recruitment personnel. Additional financial assistance is essential to attract women to Loyola. To make it clear that all students, regardless of sex, are coming to Loyola University to earn a Loyola University degree.
