Description
The 1985 watercolor, Francis Preaching to the Fish, was digitally adapted for the 2018 poster, Francis Listens to the Fish. The painting was lightened, and the colors of the fish and water were changed to make them "shimmer". John August Swanson also changed the title for the poster to Francis Listens to the Fish, feeling that it more closely matched Thich Nhat Hanh's quote, and that Francis was the one gaining knowledge from nature.
