Bob Hope was a major donor to Loyola University and Bing Crosby was a great benefactor of Gonzaga University in Spokane. The land formerly occupied by the Loyola Links practice golf course later became the site of the Burns Fine Arts Center and the Von der Ahe Communication Arts Building. |
