Historical Background |
Reverend Joseph A. Sullivan, S.J., was the fifth President of Loyola College from 1926 to 1930. During his tenure, the school raised about $5,000,000 to fund the building of the new campus in Playa Del Rey. Sullivan had also served as the pastor of the Blessed Sacrament Church of Los Angeles and the Superior of the Jesuit Missionary Board. |
