Transcription | 2525 W. 18th St. Los Angeles, Cal Oct 3, 1917 My dear Miss Workman, Your letter of Sept. 16th I find still on my deask unanswered. I am sorry, indeed, to have it so, but this evening is the first time I have had since school opened to take up anything not directly and insistently connected with daily class work. It certainly was most gracious of you to write me at length of your winter plans at Brownson. Knowing of many of the activities carried on by you and your workers, and knowing that, possibly, I might be asked for some suggestions for work at night school at [Amelia?], I thought if each knew definitely of the plans of the other, the neighborhood might be served a bit more efficiently than it would be were we, as neighbors, |
