My dear Miss Workman
I thank you very sincerely for your kindness to our Mr. Deeney. As you see from the enclosed he was deeply impressed - as we had intended - when I gave him the note [by?] you.
If Dr. [Kerby?] is appointed your Bishop your work will have splendid inspiration & wonderful guidance. By your work I mean the whole social question in L.A. You ought to have a Bishop soon. We have about 29 Mormon Bishops - one Episcopal - and, yours truly. You might take the 29 and one - and welcome.
With kindest regards to all at home & a fervent God bless you & every Brownson worker
[illegible] With [illegible] & devotion
Yours faithfully
Father Joseph S. Glass
Miss Workman
