My dear Miss Workman: Dr. Johnson asked me to reply to your letter of June 22nd., 1916, telling you how cordially he advocates your plan for the contemplated dispensary. Permit me to say a word personally. It is a joy to see an institution which, like Brownson House, not only has the vision, but is willing and able to carry out plans which can meet the needs so very evident. I have an idea that you are the soul of the Settlement and it is to be congratulated that one who is so deeply interested is also one whose mind and plans overreach immediate necessities. With sincere congratulations for your accomplishment, I am, Very truy yours, Isabel Speiueraf, Executive Secretary, IS.W. |
