My dear Miss Workman:-
I have your letter of January 26th relative to the bibliography referred to in my paper read at the Washington Conference of Catholic Charities. I am sending under separate cover three copies of my address. It has been printed in pamphlet form. [strikeout: and] I have asked the International Catholic Truth Society to send you some copies of the list of books and phamphlets [sic] bearing on Social subjects. I have also asked Miss Grace O'Brien of 820 President Street, Brooklyn, President of the Catholic Settlement Association to send you a copy of our first annual report. I congratulate you upon the splendid work done by the Brownson House Association. In the East the diocese of LosAngeles has a reputation for activity which, I am glad to see, your letter sustains. If you are ever in the East we will be pleased to show you our Settlement House which was opened last year.
Sincerely Yours,
[signed:] William White.
