Historical Background |
The Loyola University football team, the Lions, competed as an independent against teams from the Pacific Coast Conference and the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Conference from 1921 to 1951. Tom Lieb coached Loyola football from 1930 to 1938. The Block "L" Society was a student organization open to athletes who had received a varsity letter. |
