Description	A black and white photograph of Jimmy Needles, the Loyola University basketball coach. The photograph is a close up showing only his head and tops of his shoulders.
Historical Background	Basketball Coach Jimmy Needles came to Loyola from the University of San Francisco in 1935. During his years at Loyola which stretched into the 1940's, he coached Loyola standouts Pete Newell and Phil Woolpert. At the time he came to Loyola, Needles was also the coach of a local Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) team, Universal Pictures.
