Description	Dr. William F. Fitzgerald ('48) presents students Adrian Dove and Compton Police Lt. Harold Lindemulder with scholarship awards for the Human Relations Workshop, 1960.
Historical Background	A Purple Heart recipient in WWII, Dr. Bill Fitzgerald ('48) transferred to Loyola University as a student from Glendale Junior College and later took his Ph.D from Georgetown. A long time member of the California Democratic Party, Fitzgerald taught political science for over 30 years at Loyola Marymount University.
