. With the
Korean
War
looming
, he
required
all
underclassmen
to
join
AFROTC
,
effectively
steering
his
students
out
of the
Selective
Service
draft
.
William
Edward
Cordero
graduated
from
Loyola
University
of
Los
Angeles
in
1958
. He was a
Vietnam
veteran
killed
in
1965
.
Reverend
Charles
S
.
Casassa
,
S.J
., was the
tenth
President
of
Loyola
University
of
Los
Angeles
from
1949
to
1969
.
