Historical Background |
This ordination at Loyola Marymount University was the first southern California ordination in the California Province of the Society of Jesus. Six Jesuits and one Archdiocesan seminarian were ordained on the Feast of Corpus Christi by Cardinal James Francis McIntyre. The Jesuits were John Alhadef, George Aziz, Robert Braus, Jack Geiszel, Gerald Gordon, and John McAnulty. The Archdiocesan seminarian was the Irish-born Patrick J. Cotter. |
