Historical Background |
Reverend Richard H. Trame, S.J., had served multiple positions at Loyola Marymount University. He began teaching History at Loyola University in 1957, and founded the University Archives in 1960. He also served as Dean of the Graduate Division from 1981 to 1987. In 1984, Father Trame became Moderator of the Chorus, in addition to being History Professor and University Archivist. As Loyola Choral Coordinator, Father Trame was an advocate for the Men's Chorus on campus. He had assisted Paul Salamunovich, Professor of Music and Director of choral groups. Father Trame was also Chair of the Department of Music for one year in 1988. |
