The Jesuit Rare Book and Manuscript Digital Collection, 1540-1800, contains selections of Jesuit rare books and manuscripts from the Library’s Department of Archives & Special Collections. They illuminate the intellectual and creative engagement of Jesuit scholars with the Enlightenment Era world. Items selected for digitization are unique due to the artifactual nature of early printed works and manuscripts. Items from this collection are being digitized to increase their visibility and accessibility to a global audience, and allow the library to digitally preserve them for the future.
NOTE: More items will be added to this digital collection as and when digitized.
