The Loyola Marymount University Historical Photograph Collection represents materials from University Archives identified by the campus community and curators from the Department of Archives and Special Collections as snapshots of especially memorable moments in the life of LMU. Here you will find images of students, faculty, administrators, visitors, buildings, and the landscape of the campus as it has grown over the last one hundred years. A number of the items presented here were handpicked by Dr. Kevin Starr for his book entitled Loyola Marymount University, 1911-2011: a centennial history (search by keyword “Kevin Starr”).
In an effort to preserve the shared memory of generations past, present, and future, the University Archives collects and cares for the documentary record of LMU, and its predecessors, Loyola College, Marymount College, and Loyola University.
