My dear Father Corr,
I enclose a statistical report on Mr. Lopez' work during the past week. I believe that you are expecting us to help inaugurate this work at Brownson House. I should fail in what I conceive to be my duty to you and to the boys, if I did not give you a fuller account than the figures enclosed. Mr. Lopez may develop into a valuable organizer, but he has entered into this work without sufficient preparation, without a well defined plan and without careful standards of conduct for the boys. He lays stress on numbers and neglects methods and aims.
